THE Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) should comply with its own conservation guidelines to save the Soonstead mansion in Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah.
MPPP councillor Dr Lim Mah Hui said that in October 1989, the council drew up a list of 20 heritage buildings and sites along Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah for preservation.
