YBs must respond swiftly to complaints

MIRI: It was a noisy street protest that could have gotten unruly on Monday in Miri city when more than a hundred native villagers from ulu Baram vented their frustrations over their native land disputes with the authorities by their show of anger.

During a press conference that the protestors held after the demonstration, they alleged that a certain state assemblyman had refused to help them to resolve their disputes with the State Land and Survey Department and the palm oil marketing authorities.
