They’re finally out of the way

Off you go!: One of two council excavators deployed for the demolition exercise uses its arm to knock-down the illegal concrete shoplot, which was built on council road reserve land, to make way for an upcoming road.

THIRD time is the charm as the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) finally managed to demolish two illegal shoplots along Jalan TIB 3 to make way for an upcoming traffic dispersal link to Lebuh Utama Sri Gombak.

Council engineer Hazrin Hazizi Hussain Sabri said the 50m link would run past the Mesra low-cost flat units, and join with Jalan PG 1/B on the Sri Gombak side.
