MALACCA: The state-level Merdeka Day celebration will be toned down in respect and memory of the victims of the MH370 and MH17 tragedies.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron said there would still be performances and activities on a moderate scale, and urged citizens to gather and dedicate their thoughts to fellow Malaysians and those onboard MH370 and MH17.
