SIBU: People staying near Bukit Lima Forest Park here had the scare of their life when a forest fire went out of control and threatened to spread to their houses.
Local Government and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh told The Star that it was that fire that made the town’s air pollutant index to skyrocket starting last Saturday.
