KUCHING: The crisis facing the state Pakatan Rakyat coalition is not DAP’s fault but is due to PAS dancing to Umno’s tune on the implementation of hudud, Sarawak DAP chairman Chong Chieng Jen said.
He said the recent meeting between the PAS-led Kelantan government and Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Dr Jamil Khir Baharom to discuss the implementation of hudud without the need to amend the Federal Constitution was based on a paper by the Islamic Development Department (Jakim) released in May.
