Veteran guitarist keeps on playing

COUNTRY music fans who used to frequent Cattleman’s Inn in Damansara Utama may remember Southern Reign, a six-piece country band that dressed up as cowboys and Indians.

Its singer and guitarist Sherman Tan recalled, “We had a lot of gimmicks. Playing music isn’t about just standing there and playing, it’s about marketing.”
