THE monthly palm cooking oil quota for Kedah will be increased by 10% this month to ensure sufficient supply of the item for Ramadan and Hari Raya.
State Industry and Investment, Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism Committee chairman Datuk Dr Ku Abd Rahman Ku Ismail said the 10% increase from the quota of 2,514 tonnes was to avoid a shortage of the item in the state.
