Group urges councils to consider livelihood before taking action against traders


JOHOR BARU: The Johor Indian Business Association (JIBA) urged the relevant authorities to seriously consider the livelihood of traders before issuing notices and stopping them from operating their businesses.

Its president P. Sivakumar said that local councils should not act based only on public complaints but also consider the livelihood of traders before taking actions that could adversely affect their income.
