THOSE who put up illegal advertisements can be jailed once the Solid Waste Management and Public Cleaning Enactment is passed, said state Local Government, Studies and Research Committee chairman Datuk Teng Chang Khim.
He said the enactment had been drafted and the state government was currently consulting the state legal adviser on the matter, who would then consult the Attorney-General’s Chambers on the jail term involved.
