IT WAS a wet opening day for the Football Association of Penang as an evening downpour washed away two of its three FA Cup first round challenges.
The state knockout tournament, which was to mark the opening of this year’s league challenge, kicked off at two venues – the Polo Ground and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in Penang.
