Lack of action over illegal dumping site leads to protest

COMMITTEE members from the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Kwan Yin Association (KLSKYA) recently protested against Kuala Lumpur City Hall’s (DBKL) lack of action over the illegal dumping of construction waste at a Chinese temple in Pandan Jaya for the past three years.

KLSKYA president Tham Hui Yee said they had met DBKL officers six times in the three years and they had first highlighted the problem as early as 2011.
