SIBU: The perennial water shortage problem faced by the people in Pulau Bruit will only be solved once the pipe installation project from here to Tanjung Manis and Pulau Bruit is completed.
Deputy Home Minister Datuk Wan Zunaidi Tuanku Jaafar, when presenting financial assistance to families of the Jan 18 longboat tragedy yesterday, said the government was “very concerned” with the water shortage problem affecting the people in the island each time drought came.
