Friendship bridge may help reduce traffic congestion

JOHOR BARU: The Johor Causeway will no longer be relevant if the Malaysia and Singapore governments decide to build the proposed friendship bridge in place of the scenic bridge that was proposed years ago.

State Public Works, Rural and Regional Development Committee chairman Datuk Hasni Mohammad said if both countries decide to build the bridge in place of the scenic bridge, it would definitely be able to ease the already heavy traffic on the Causeway.
