JOHOR BARU: A fire-testing laboratory at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is expected to give boost to the construction industry in the country with its ability to test various kinds of fire-proof materials.
The university’s deputy vice chancellor (Research and Innovation) Prof Dr Mohd Azraai Kassim said the laboratory, worth about RM2.5mil, was expected to give researchers and students advantages when conducting their own tests.
