KUCHING: SUPP Youth Central believed that the timing was right for Sarawak to fight for greater autonomy and self-rule (except on defence and foreign affairs) as spelt out in the Malaysia Agreement, particularly on the 18 points agreed upon before and during the formation of Malaysia.
SUPP Youth felt that this was important as being a local-based political party, it could truly understand the aspirations of Sarawakians, something foreign or peninsula-based political parties, the Opposition in particular, could not deliver, it said in a press release yesterday.
