Telco operator defaults on permit fee

MPS Enforcement officers up-end the telco mast, after it has been disconnected from its power supply by TNB, whose officers were also part of the three-premise operation.

THE Selayang Municipal Council (MPS), with the help from Tenaga Nasional Berhad and the police, brought down three telecommunications masts in Selayang Utama and Selayang Baru yesterday.

MPS public relations officer Ahmad Fauzi Ishak said the telco operator which erected the three masts had not paid for the council permits.
