Police urge public not to spread rumours about varsity student’s cause of death


KUCHING: Police will continue to carry out investigation into the cause of death of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) student Siti Najwa Atikah Azhar, 19, whose body was found on Tuesday in a stream within the campus.

The autopsy was done yesterday, and Samarahan police chief DSP Lee Chong Chern told reporters that no obvious injuries were found on the body, and Siti’s clothes were intact. The case has been classified as sudden death.
