Taib: Economic growth not down to luck but civil service


KUCHING: The state civil service must prepare for challenges ahead with the same team spirit and dedication it has always embraced.

Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud said Sarawak, and Malaysia, would be part of the Asean common market from 2015, which would mean facing stiff competition and low production costs from countries like Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand.
