Wet weather spoils international tennis tournament

INTERMITTENT rain on the final two days of the 33rd Perlis-Milo Tuanku Syed Putra Junior International tennis tournament almost ruined all proceedings.

The wet weather gave the organisers no alternative but to resort to the toss of a coin to decide the champions and runners-up of several finals scheduled on the last two days of the five-day tournament, which was held recently at the Tennis Complex in Jalan Kampung Pondok in Kangar, Perlis.
