POLIO survivor Tan Hun Keow has never let his disability stand in his way of helping others. Since 1996, the 49-year-old has donated blood 63 times.

Recalling the first time he donated blood, Tan, who works as a cashier said a colleague had asked for his help to donate blood to a sick patient.
