Free shuttle service in Pulau Tikus

RESIDENTS in the Pulau Tikus area of Penang need not walk far to catch a bus to town or to Tanjung Bungah with the introduction of a Kelawei-Burma Bus Loop system.

Pulau Tikus assemblyman Yap Soo Huey, who mooted the idea, said following the recent implementation of a one-way traffic system in the area, Kelawei Road residents needed to walk to Burma Road to take the bus to town, while those living in Burma Road had to walk to Kelawei Road to take the bus to Tanjung Bungah.
