THIRTY eight pupils from SJK (C) Chen Moh, Petaling Jaya had a taste of being a “scientist” during the recent Salcon River and Water Awareness Educational Programme at Lembah Kiara, Taman Tun Dr Ismail.
The programme got the children wading in water as they were taught how to conduct physical, chemical and biological tests on the river, including the smell, flow rate, pH, turbidity, dissolved oxygen and living organisms in Sungai Penchala to identify the quality and health of the river using various water testing equipment.
