Henry does himself, family and nation proud with silver medal at the World Masters Games

Forehand blast: Veteran squash player Henry Sim Poh Khun works out at the Royal Lake Club.

VETERAN squash player Henry Sim Poh Khun was Malaysia’s sole entry at the recently-concluded World Masters Games in Torino, Italy and the 74-year-old part-time remisier did well enough to return home with a silver medal.

In the men’s 70-75 age group — his second outing at the games, Henry achieved his goal and said he was satisfied to have improved on his previous fourth-place in the men’s 65 and above, when the event was held in Sydney, Australia four years ago.
