Seven-day remand for three Didi Gang members and two cousins


SIBU: Three members of the Didi Gang and two owners of a farm at KM7, Jalan Oya have been ordered to be remanded for seven days to facilitate police investigations into the Saturday fatal shooting of another member of the gang.

The five were also ordered by Subordinate Court Registrar Rommie Ahmad Zaidi to be present on Oct 5 for further mention of the case. In the case, four members of the gang led by its 48-year-old leader known as Ah Tay intruded into the farm using a van which was reported stolen by its owner on April 21. There they stole three fighting cocks. The 29-year-old farm owner and his 35-year old cousin chased after the intruders on a motorcycle.
