Authorities do spot-check Traders did not increase prices of goods following fuel hike

THE authorities conducted price spot-checks throughout Perak following the recent fuel price hike in an attempt to catch unscrupulous business owners on Sept 3.

According to Perak Domestic Trade, Consumerism and Cooperatives Department operations head Zulkifli Yaakob, the department had been conducting spot checks at food premises, markets, night markets and supermarkets throughout the state following the fuel price hike that day.
