Showing displeasure: Some residents walking out of the gathering on Universiti Malaya
THERE was a massive walkout from a pre-consultation gathering held at the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) over the proposed development of a Health Metropolis in Section 12, Petaling Jaya.
Most of the residents said Saturday’s meeting was “defective” as the slot was given to the developer, UM Holdings Sdn Bhd, to conduct a briefing on the medical hub instead of a public hearing on changing the land status under the Petaling Jaya Local Draft Plan 1.
