KUCHING: The increase in transportation cost due to the fuel price hike will have a greater impact in Sarawak than anywhere else in Malaysia.
Sarawak Building and Civil Engineering Contractors Association deputy secretary James Ha said being the largest state in the country in terms of landmass, transportation cost had always comprised a large margin in building costs in Sarawak.
