Selayang Municipal Council plans to convert rubbish into fertiliser


THE Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) has plans to embark on a technology called the autoclave system, which helps to convert waste into fertiliser, in a move to manage its waste effectively and cut costs.

Council president Mohd Azizi Mohd Zain said waste from the municipality was currently sent to the Bukit Tagar, Hulu Selangor landfill.
