MIRI: The state authorities want to impress upon the Health Ministry that one riverine boat-clinic is not enough to cater to the needs of the rural people in Sarawak, and that the state needs to be quickly given more such boats and related facilities.
Assistant Communication Minister Datuk Lee Kim Shin said the ministry needed to immediately increase the number of boat-clinics in the state because the current one plying the Baram River was not capable of meeting the needs of all rural people.
