Crime up slightly in Penang


CRIME in Penang recorded an increase of 281 cases or 4.7% as of Aug 15 this year compared to the previous corresponding period, said state police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi.

“Robberies and vehicle thefts were among the categories which recorded an increase. I hope the public will help to provide us with information on crime in their area.
