The project to upgrade Dataran Merdeka’s field has been put on hold until the end of next year to facilitate events taking place there.
A Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) spokesman said since the upgrading works scheduled to start this month had not begun, several ministries had requested to use the field for their events.
