KUANTAN: Pahang is unable to effectively tackle illegal land clearing in the state on account of manpower and shortage of equipment, said Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob.
Answering a question at the recent state assembly sitting, he said there were also obstacles posed by poor accessibility to the land clearing sites, which are generally located in very remote areas.
