Tremor felt in Tawau Earthquake measuring 4.9 hits Tarakan, Indonesia


KOTA KINABALU: A mild tremor lasting less than six seconds was hardly felt by residents in Sabah’s east coast Tawau district.

Most of the people were fast asleep when the earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale hits Tarakan in Indonesia about 118km from Tawau at 3.30am on Thursday.
