DUE to the frequent water disruption and shortage experienced by Tanjung Tualang folks in the past, water is a precious commodity at the town famous for its fresh water prawns.
Throughout the last few decades, restaurant supervisor P.K. Long, 45, had to make sure that water from two 1,000-litre storage tanks was enough for the restaurant’s various needs whenever there was a burst or leaking pipe.
