THE Seberang Prai Municipal Council has allocated RM450,000 for the maintenance of open space and recreational facilities in public parks and fields this year.
Municipal councillor Steven Sim Chee Keong said the fund would be used to repair broken equipment in the playgrounds, restore perimeter fencing and sidewalks, as well as re-turf damaged fields on the mainland.
