THE newly built pontoon bridge at the Sungai Pinang jetty on Pangkor Island will be opened to the public as soon as fenders have been installed around it.
Manjung Public Works Department engineer Amran Mohd Nor said although the bridge was ready, the department could not allow it to be used due to certain technical flaws.
