Eight disabled youths open their own laundry outlet

EIGHT disabled youths from the Kampung Pertama Rehabilitation in the community (PDK) centre in Permatang Pauh, Butterworth, have started operating a laundry outlet to earn a living.

Central Seberang Prai district welfare officer Noor Lela Saad said the department helped the PDK centre obtain five laundry machines and five steamer irons via the Federal Government’s 1Azam scheme in November last year.
