WHILE political stability is always treasured, one wonders why despite the usual crescendo of complaints about leakages, corruption as well as unfair income and wealth distribution, the Opposition has not been able to mount a viable alternative — at least until now.
One may complain about constituency delineations, counting of votes at polling stations that enable the narrowing down of voting preferences, the perceived fear of denial of development should one vote for the Opposition, money politics, postal votes — the list goes on.
