SCHOOLS in mainland Penang generally fared better in the SPM 2012, with 13 schools in Seberang Prai recording 100% passes, while the island had 10 schools.
State Education director Ahmad Tarmizi Kamaruddin said a total of 40 students scored straight As, while 1,021 students scored a combination of A+, A and A-.
