KUCHING: The Welfare Department is actively carrying out registration of disabled people in the state so that proper assistance can be channelled to them.
Welfare, Women and Family Development Datuk Fatimah Abdullah said the number of registered disabled persons totalled 34,268 as of last month, up from 32,888 at the end of last year.
