DBKL’s new lighting masterplan to be shared with developers soon


A NEW lighting masterplan has been created by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) to further reduce energy consumption in the city, enhance the city’s image and character through lighting as well as focus on safety and security systems in buildings.

Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Seri Ahmad Phesal Talib said the masterplan, which was approved last month, was designed via a joint venture between local and Singaporean consultants.
