JOHOR BAHRU: Kitchen and electrical durables ELBA will feature its own water purifier at the home and lifestyle exhibition ‑ Perfect Livin’ 13.
Fiamma Sdn Bhd managing director Ling Kean Hong said the company had tapped into the water purifier market as an expansion of products to complement the company’s existing product range.
“Water purifying products had existed quite some while in the market but they are usually sold through direct marketing.
“Now we are providing customers a variety of choices for this new category through the retail concept,” he said, adding that it would be more affordable for the customers.
The new range of ELBA water purifier that was launched in November last year employed the basics of Ultra Filtration technology, he added.
“There are a total of four filters, the Sediment Filter, Pre-carbon Filter, Ultra Filtration Membrane and Carbon Black Filter to remove dirt, sand, chlorine, harmful organic chemicals, bacteria and disease causing organisms,” said Ling.
Fiamma was established in 1979 and distributed its first household electric appliances under the brand of ELBA.
“To date, the water purifier has received good response as the price is affordable for the consumers.
“We also offer free installation as well as free replacement of filters for the first year with terms and conditions applied,” Ling said.
ELBA will also feature a range of cooking appliances such as built-in hobs, built-in ovens, designer hoods as well as a great selection of home laundry, air conditioner and small appliances for home owners.
Currently, there are 1,000 dealers featuring ELBA products throughout Malaysia and the company will occupy six booths at the exhibition that will open its doors for the first time at Persada Johor from March 8 to 10, from 11am - 9pm.
Moving forward, ELBA wil continue to source for more kitchen and electrical appliances to expand the range of its existing products.
Ling also mentioned that he is optimistic about the coming exhibition in Johor as there was a growing market and fast developing housing projects.
“There is a lot of potential in Johor as the state is fast developing.
“We plan to focus on creating a solid visual presence as well as enhancing the brand status inthe state.
“Perfect Livin’ has done a good job in pulling the crowd and the company achieved a double digit growth in terms of sales during each exhibition,” he added.
The exhibition occupies around 60,000 sq ft of exhibition space and over 350 booths. Admission is free.
The first 1,000 early birds would walk away with an exclusive Limited Edition Perfect Livin aluminium drinking bottle each while the first 2,000 visitors would get a Perfect Livin Sling bag each.
