A TOTAL of 1,200 candles on lotus flower floats were released at the Kinta River during the state-level Chap Goh Meh celebration.
The floats, carrying Chinese New Year messages and wishes by the public, dotted the otherwise dark river at night as they were released into the water in front of the Kinta Riverfront Hotel & Suites last Friday and Saturday night.
