KUCHING: Local Muslims are advised not to go overboard when celebrating Valentine’s Day.
Assistant Minister of Islamic Affairs Datuk Daud Abdul Rahman said though the state saw nothing wrong with Valentine’s Day, he feared that youths might go overboard and engage in immoral activities such as illicit sex and/or khalwat (close proximity).
