Serdang parliamentary liaison officer Datuk Yap Pian Hon called the state government “insincere” for setting conditions for the 25% discount on assessment for low-cost flat owners.
Yap said the conditions stated that owners must be residing at the flats, all strata titles must be certified by the Joint Management Body (JMB), Commissioner of Buildings (COB) or local councils and owners must not have assessment arrears.
