THE city’s open landfill in Bercham will be replaced by a state-of-the-art centralised sanitary landfill in Papan, about 16km from Ipoh.
Datuk Bandar Datuk Roshidi Hashim said the RM19mil landfill to be constructed on a 224ha area would be operational by March.
