Winning it big a first for her

MARKETING consultant Kay Wong has taken part in many contests before but winning the grand prize in The Star's Match The Step's Contest is her first success.  

The 49-year-old from Taman Cheras won an Osim i-Medic PRO Massage chair in the contest held in conjunction with the 'Mystical Steppes: Along The Silk Road' show.  

Sponsors for the contest are Osim and Astro. 

Wong said her friend, who also participated in the contest, helped her but did not win it.  

“I won instead. So I must share this chair with her,” said Wong during a prize presentation ceremony at Menara Star on Feb 15. 

The first prize Osim iSqueeze Foot Massager went to Datin Seri Chan Choy May while the second prize Osim uPupa Back Massager was won by Yau Foong Hun.  

Third prize winner Chan Siew Foon received an Osim uZap Slimming Belt.  

Ten consolation prize winners received an Osim Massager Pen and an Astro Decoder each.  

Present to give away the prizes were Osim marketing manager Priscillia Ooi and Star Publication's advertising and business promotions general manager Calvin Kan.
