THE fate of 31 yellow flame trees (Peltophorum pterocarpum) and five rain trees (Samanea saman) along Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang, near the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, hangs in the balance.

These huge and beautiful trees are believed to be about 50 years old.
