A FORUM on sexual offences against children in Kuching this week underlined the importance of public awareness and concerted efforts in preventing such crimes and, when they do happen, in ensuring justice and care for victims.

Welfare, Women and Community Wellbeing Minister Datuk Fatimah Abdullah summed it up when she said preventing child sexual offences was everyone’s responsibility.
